Your day is full of amazing highlights! Drive to Memphis to view the limestone Colossus of Ramses II and the giant Alabaster Sphinx. Continue to Sakkara and marvel at the Step Pyramid, which heralded the start of the Pyramid Age. In Giza, admire the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the Great Sphinx, the world's oldest monumental sculpture. These are truly breathtaking sights! This morning explore the High Dam at Aswan and view the massive unfinished obelisk at the Granite Quarries. Continue by motorboat to the Island of Philae to visit the Temple of Isis. This afternoon, take a memorable ride in a felucca across the Nile to see the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener’s Island. The felucca is a traditional boat used by Egyptians for centuries.
