Day 1. Vancouver
Be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Day 2. Vancouver Sights
Tour the sights of Vancouver. Then walk along the Capilano Suspension Bridge before time at leisure.
Day 3. Rocky Mountaineer
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and cross the Continental Divide. Pass through Fraser Valley’s fertile fields, and follow the Thompson River to Kamloops.
Day 4. Spiral Tunnels, Banff
Rejoining the Rocky Mountaineer, journey through the vast ranchlands of the Spiral Tunnels, on your way to Banff National Park.
Day 5. Banff Sights, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dine Around Dinner
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff this morning, then join your selected activity. Tonight enjoy a Dine Around Dinner at one of The Fairmont Banff Springs’ outstanding restaurants
Day 6. Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Dine Around Dinner
This morning, Meet a Mountie to hear tales of this Canadian icon. Then, ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for stunning views. Visit the pristine Moraine Lake, and journey on to Lake Louise.
Day 7. Lake Louise
Join a Mountain Heritage Guide for a walk alongside majestic Lake Louise. Then ride the Lake Louise Gondola and enjoy incredible views.
Day 8. Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper, Dine Around Dinner
Travel along the Icefields Parkway and take a ride in an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continue to Jasper.
Day 9. Jasper, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today, enjoy your selected touring experience - ride the Jasper Tramway, take an interpretive nature hike, go on a Maligne Valley Wildlife Safari or raft down Athabasca River.
Day 10. Sun Peaks
Descend from the Rockies, crossing Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park. Travel through Mt Revelstoke and Glacier national parks to arrive in Sun Peaks.
Day 11. Whistler
Travel through the Cariboo region, into the Coast Mountains to the alpine village of Whistler. After dinner, enjoy free time in this bustling village, which comes alive at night with its enchanting light displays.
Day 12. Whistler, Freedom of Choice Touring
Enjoy breakfast at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre and gain a fascinating insight into local heritage. This afternoon, enjoy your selected touring activity.
Day 13. Georgia Strait, Victoria
You may like to take our optional one-hour floatplane across beautiful Georgia Strait to Victoria, which you can then explore in the afternoon (own expense). Alternatively, enjoy the scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway, stopping at Shannon Falls. Cruise the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island and head to Victoria.
Day 14. Victoria, Butchart Gardens, Freedom of Choice Touring
This morning visit the famous Butchart Gardens for breakfast. Later choose your touring activity in Victoria.
Day 15. Holland America Line Cruise
Today, transfer to Vancouver and board your ship for the Alaska Inside Passage cruise.
Day 16. Cruise the Inside Passage
Enjoy a day at sea, gliding over the Inside Passage.
Day 17. Juneau
This afternoon, arrive in Juneau, Alaska’s capital.
Day 18. Skagway
Journey to Skagway, a frontier town that once was a gateway
to the gold rush.
Day 19. Glacier Bay
Wake to the stunning sight of Glacier Bay National Park.
Day 20. Ketchikan
Tour Ketchikan’s sights this afternoon. Known as the salmon capital of the world, you may wish to sample some of the local delicacy, salmon.
Day 21. The Inside Passage
Continue south through the scenic Inside Passage.
Day 22. Vancouver
Arrive back in Vancouver and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
