Tour Details - 12 Day Rockies Explorer 2013

Day 1. Victoria
Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to the quaint city of Victoria for a Welcome Dinner this evening.

Day 2. Vancouver Island, Butchart Gardens, Freedom of Choice Touring
Visit the world-renowned Butchart Gardens for breakfast. Later, choose your activity in Victoria.

Day 3. Georgia Strait, Whistler
Take an optional one-hour floatplane across beautiful Georgia Strait to Whistler (own expense). Or journey by ferry across the Georgia Strait to the mainland, then travel onwards to Whistler. Enjoy free time this evening in this bustling alpine village.

Day 4. Cariboo Region, Sun Peaks
Departing Whistler this morning, travel through the Cariboo region to Sun Peaks.

Day 5. Mt Robson, Jasper National Park, Dine Around Dinner
Follow the famous Yellowhead Highway to the fairytale Jasper National Park.

Day 6. Icefields Parkway, Lake Louise, Dine Around Dinner
Today, you’ll travel the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s great scenic drives, and enjoy a ride onto the Athabasca Glacier in an Ice Explorer. Later, arrive at Lake Louise.

Day 7. Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Dine Around Dinner
Join a guided walk at Lake Louise with a Mountain Heritage Guide. Later, visit the pristine Moraine Lake and ride on the Banff Gondola for spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 8. Banff Sights, Freedom of Choice Touring
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the quaint town of Banff before joining your selected touring activity.

Day 9. Rocky Mountaineer Rail, Spiral Tunnels
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and cross the Continental Divide.

Day 10. Kamloops, Vancouver
Board the Rocky Mountaineer again, and travel through Fraser Canyon before arriving in Vancouver.

Day 11. Vancouver Sights
Enjoy a tour of Vancouver before some time at leisure. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers before you commence your cruise.

Day 12. Vancouver
After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
