Tour Details - 11 Day Canadian Rockies Circle 2012

Day 1. Arrive Vancouver, Victoria
On arrival at Vancouver Airport, be transferred to the ferry for a cruise to Vancouver Island. Travel to Victoria and check into your hotel before a Welcome Reception.

Day 2. Victoria Sightseeing
Visit the Butterfly Gardens and historic Butchart Gardens, in Victoria. With the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps undertake an optional activity (own expense).

Day 3. Victoria, Sun Peaks.
Board the ferry and return to the mainland. Then travel via coach through British Columbia’s interior. Later, check into your lodge before dining at a local restaurant.

Day 4. Jasper.
Follow the renowned Yellowhead Highway. Pass Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. This afternoon, arrive in beautiful Jasper National Park.

Day 5. Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Louise.
Journey along the Icefields Parkway with vistas of glaciers, lakes and wildlife. Stop at Athabasca Glacier for an Ice Explorer ride.

Day 6. Banff.
See stunning Moraine Lake (weather permitting). Then continue on to Banff.

Day 7. Banff Sightseeing.
Today ride the Banff Gondola and enjoy incredible views of the Canadian Rockies. Then enjoy time at leisure to explore.

Day 8. Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops.
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and pass Mt Robson, Pyramid Falls and the Monashee Mountains before arriving in Kamloops late this afternoon.

Day 9. Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver.
Rejoin the Rocky Mountaineer and continue past Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon, the Coast Mountains and Fraser Valley. Arrive in Vancouver this afternoon.

Day 10. Vancouver.
Take a tour of Vancouver, including the Waterfront, Gastown and Stanley Park. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore before a Farewell Dinner tonight.

Day 11. Vancouver.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
