Day 1. Vancouver
Be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Day 2. Vancouver Sights
Enjoy a tour of Vancouver before some time at leisure.
Day 3. Rocky Mountaineer
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train and enjoy the comforts of GoldLeaf Service. Pass through the Coast Mountains, then enter the Fraser Canyon. Follow the Thompson River to Kamloops.
Day 4. Mt Robson, Jasper, Dine Around Dinner
Aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, follow the Thompson River into the Monashee Mountains and past Mt Robson. Arrive in the fairytale Jasper National Park.
Day 5. Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Louise, Dine Around Dinner
Journey along the Icefields Parkway, stopping to drive onto the Athabasca Glacier. Then, arrive at Lake Louise, and choose from one of the chateau’s outstanding restaurants for dinner tonight.
Day 6. Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Dine Around Dinner
Join a Mountain Heritage Guide for a stroll along the shore of Lake Louise. Then visit Moraine Lake before journeying to Banff, where you will ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. In the evening, choose where you dine at The Fairmont Banff Springs, the Castle in the Rockies.
Day 7. Banff Sights, Freedom of Choice Touring
Enjoy a tour of Banff, then join your selected activity from a range that includes the Banff Experience or a helicopter flight.
Day 8. Sun Peaks
Descend from the Rockies, crossing Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park. Travel through Glacier and Mt Revelstoke national parks and arrive in Sun Peaks.
Day 9. Thompson Okanagan, Whistler
Travel through the rugged Thompson Okanagan region to the spectacular alpine resort of Whistler. After dinner spend time exploring the lively pedestrian village.
Day 10. Georgia Strait, Victoria
You may like to take our optional one-hour floatplane across beautiful Georgia Strait to Victoria, which you can then explore in the afternoon (own expense). Alternatively, enjoy the scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway, stopping at Shannon Falls. Cruise the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island and head to Victoria.
Day 11. Victoria, Butchart Gardens, Freedom of Choice Touring
This morning visit the famous Butchart Gardens for breakfast. Later choose your touring option in Victoria.
Day 12. Flight to Anchorage
Take the ferry back across Georgia Strait to Vancouver Airport, board your flight to Anchorage. (Flight at own expense when booking land and cruise only).
Day 13. McKinley Explorer to Denali
Board the McKinley Explorer glass-domed train carriage for the journey to Denali National Park.
Day 14. Denali Sightseeing
Discover Denali on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Enjoy expert commentary and, weather permitting, enjoy views of Mt McKinley.
Day 15. McKinley Explorer to Fairbanks
Board the McKinley Explorer bound for the frontier town of Fairbanks.
Day 16. Fairbanks, Tok
Tour the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and historic Gold Dredge No. 8. Continue on the Alaska Highway to Tok.
Day 17. Yukon River Cruise, Dawson City
Travel to Eagle and board the Yukon Queen II for a cruise to Dawson City, site of the world’s greatest gold rush stampede in the late 1800s. On arrival check in to your accommodation in the heart of the Klondike National Historic Site.
Day 18. Dawson City
The day is at leisure in Dawson City. A variety of optional excursions are available here, including a journey to Tombstone Territorial Park (own expense).
Day 19. Whitehorse
Experience the vast expanse of Yukon wilderness on the way to Whitehorse, capital of the Yukon.
Day 20. Skagway
Board the historic White Pass and Yukon railway and travel to Lake Bennett for a guided tour. Reboard the train to Skagway.
Day 21. Holland America Line Cruise
Board your Holland America Line ship.
Day 22. Glacier Bay
Wake to the inspiring sight of Glacier Bay National Park.
Day 23. Ketchikan
Sample the tastiest salmon in Ketchikan, the salmon capital of the world.
Day 24. Inside Passage
Enjoy the scenery as your ship winds through the Inside Passage.
Day 25. Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver this morning and transfer to the airport.
