Day 1. Arrive Vilnius
Be met on arrival at the airport in Vilnius and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Relax at your hotel or perhaps step out to familiarise yourself with the streets of the Lithuanian capital before a Welcome Reception tonight.
Day 2. Vilnius
Today a tour of Vilnius includes the World Heritage-listed Old Town and the Amber Gallery. Travel to Trakai and visit Trakai Island Castle on Lake Galve. Built in the 14th century, the castle once held great strategic importance.
Day 3. Kaunas, Klaipeda
Depart for Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania. Enjoy a tour here, before continuing your journey to the port city of Klaipeda.
Day 4. Klaipeda, Freedom of Choice Touring
This morning travel to the national park of the Curonian Spit, washed by the Baltic Sea in the west and the Curonian Lagoon to the east, or visit the Amber Museum and Gardens in Palanga for a guided tour.
Day 5. Klaipeda, Riga
Today cross into Latvia and visit Rundale Palace. Then stop to take in the Hill of Crosses, located near the city of Šiauliai. There are thought to be more than 100,000 crosses, crucifixes, carvings, statues and effigies here. Continue to Riga, the Latvian capital.
Day 6. Riga
Today join a tour of the Latvian capital city of Riga, where ancient churches and cathedrals reveal a mix of architectural styles.
Day 7. Riga, Sigulda, Tallinn
Travel through Gauja National Park and stop in Sigulda. Here, visit the ruins of Crusader Castle and Kropotkin’s Palace. Your journey then continues to Tallinn.
Day 8. Tallinn, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today choose your activity in Tallinn, perhaps enjoy a tour of the Old Town of Tallinn, discover Toompea Castle and Parliament or take a Kayaking adventure in Tallinn Bay.
Day 9. Tallinn, Helsinki
This morning ride a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki. On arrival, check in to your hotel before time at leisure this afternoon.

Board your river ship and settle into your suite.

Tour the Hungarian capital of Budapest, then visit the Hungarian State Opera House.
Day 16. Vienna, Dine Around Dinner
This morning enjoy a walking tour of Vienna. This evening enjoy a choice of dining experiences with a Dine Around Dinner.
Day 17. Vienna, Freedom of Choice Touring
In Vienna choose from four Freedom of Choice Touring options, one of which is a visit to Schönbrunn Palace.
Day 18. Dürnstein, Freedom of Choice Touring, Melk
In Dürnstein choose from a walking tour or enjoy a guided bike ride to Melk. Both groups then tour Melk Abbey.
Day 19. Linz, Freedom of Choice Touring, Passau
Today, perhaps take a tour to Salzburg and visit the ‘Sound of Music’ sites, or you may prefer to visit Ceský Krumlov. Alternatively take a tour of Passau.
Day 20. Regensburg, Freedom of Choice Touring
In Regensburg, one of Germany’s best preserved medieval cities, enjoy a choice of touring activities.

Dock in Nuremberg today and perhaps take a World War II tour, a medieval city tour or a Segway tour today.

Tour World Heritage-listed Bamberg, before visiting a Beer Haus and enjoying a beer.

Sample wines in Kitzingen during a unique wine tasting event. Then choose your tour in Würzburg. Tonight, enjoy a medieval themed dinner on board your river ship.

In Wertheim, take a bike tour, a paddling tour or a walking tour. Then visit Wertheim Castle.
