Day 1. Arrive Dubrovnik
On arrival be met at the airport in Dubrovnik and transferred to your hotel. With the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps step out and familiarise yourself with the area or relax by the Adriatic Sea. Tonight, gather for a Welcome Reception at which you’ll enjoy the opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers.
Day 2. Dubrovnik Sightseeing, Freedom of Choice Touring
This morning, a tour of Dubrovnik includes the old town of Stari Grad, the Pharmacy, the War Memorial Museum and Rectors Palace. This afternoon, take an excursion to Lokrum Island, or take a Croation Folklore tour of Cilipi. Tonight, enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3. Montenegro

Day 4. Dubrovnik, Mostar
After breakfast, depart Dubrovnik and travel across the Croatian border into Bosnia and Herzegovina and on to Mostar. Situated on the Neretva River, Mostar has a fascinating history. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a sightseeing tour before dinner this evening.
Day 5. Sarajevo
Today journey to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Explore the sights of this historic city.
Day 6. Mostar, Split, Dine Around Dinner
Travel back into Croatia and on to Split today. On a tour, see ancient architecture, the harbour and Diocletian’s Palace, one of the most imposing Roman ruins in existence. You’ll also visit the Old Roman Square, Peristil, Cardo Decumanus streets, the Cathedral of St Domnius, the Baptistry and the statue of Grgur Ninski. Tonight, choose to dine at your hotel or in a local restaurant, the Adriatic Graso. Located on the Sustipan Cliff overlooking the sea, this restaurant offers delicious slow-cooked dishes, full of Dalmationa flavour and spice.
Day 7. Split, Freedom of Choice Touring
Enjoy more great touring in Split today, with a choice of activities. Sail to picturesque Hvar Island, take a guided bike tour, or enjoy an olive and wine tasting experience at Jelsa.
Day 8. Split, Plitvice Lakes National Park
Today discover the magic of water and woods. Located in a valley among forested mountains, Plitvice Lakes National Park contains 16 blue-green lakes, connected by a series of foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls, surrounded by lush green forests and meadows. A tour of this World Heritage-listed area includes a journey by both electric boat and rail.
Day 9. Plitvice, Ljubljana
Depart Plitvice Lakes National Park and head for the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana. On arrival, check in to your hotel, then enjoy time at leisure before dinner.
Day 10. Ljubljana
This morning after breakfast, take a tour of the Slovenian capital. See the Old Town, Opera, University and the National Theatre. Then visit Prestern Statue, the cathedral and Plecnik Market. Later, enjoy time at leisure to relax or further explore.
Day 11. Lake Bled, Zagreb
Today journey to Lake Bled in the Julian Alps. See medieval Bled Castle, then cruise to Bled Island, the only natural island in Slovenia. Later, return to Croatia and arrive in Zagreb.
Day 12. Zagreb
Today a tour of Zagreb includes a visit to the Mirogoy Cemetery. Walk through the Stone Gate and visit its little Chapel of our Lady of the Stone Gate.
Day 13. Zagreb, Budapest
Arrive in Budapest, where your tour concludes.
