Tour Details - 11 Day Vineyards of the Rhine & Mosel 2012

Day 1. Arrive Amsterdam
On arrival, be met and transferred to your river ship before tonight’s Captain’s Gala Welcome Dinner.

Day 2. Amsterdam
Take a city tour then enjoy a canal boat cruise, sailing past 16th century merchant houses and charming churches.

Day 3. Cologne
Tour Cologne and attend the 2012 Floriade Horticultural Expo.

Day 4. Rüdesheim
This afternoon arrive in Rüdesheim. Visit a local vintner for a wine tasting before a trip to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Later, cruise through the Rhine Gorge, on what is known as the most beautiful stretch of the Rhine.

Day 5. Mainz/Koblenz
Today, enjoy a guided tour of Mainz and then Koblenz.

Day 6. Cochem
Cruise along the Moselle and arrive in Cochem, known for its cosy wine taverns and colourful riverside promenades. Here, a tour includes a visit to Reichsburg Castle, offering lovely views of the Moselle River.

Day 7. Bernkastel
Arrive in Bernkastel today and enjoy a guided walking tour. Enjoy a wine tasting, then re-board your ship and cruise into the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Day 8. Remich, Disembark Ship, Luxembourg, Paris
Travel to the World Heritage-listed city of Luxembourg for a tour. Board a high-speed train and travel to Paris.

Day 9. Paris Sightseeing
Discover the French capital’s sights during a guided tour, then spend the day exploring as you please.

Day 10. Paris at Leisure
Today, enjoy a full day to further explore the incredible attractions of Paris at leisure.

Day 11. Depart Paris
Your delightful journey ends today after breakfast with a transfer to the airport.
