Tour Details - 8 Day South West Explorer 12/13 (Breakfast)

Day 1. Historic York, Wave Rock.
Early this morning cross the Darling Ranges on the way to York. Enjoy a tour with a local guide then continue to Hyden and visit Wave Rock.

Day 2. Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie.
After breakfast, journey via Coolgardie to Kalgoorlie, where more than half of the gold mined in Australia is produced. Travel Kalgoorlie’s Golden Mile, reputed to be the richest square mile in the world, and admire the town’s interesting architecture.

Day 3. Kalgoorlie, Lake Lefroy, Esperance.
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Kalgoorlie, then travel to Lake Lefroy, where the white salt makes for a striking contrast against the blue sky. Continue to Esperance.

Day 4. Pink Lake, Historic Albany,
Meet a Local Wildflower Expert. Take in the sights of Esperance, including Twilight Bay and the Pink Lake. Drive through the Stirling Ranges and meet a local wildflower expert. Take in lovely views from Bluff Knoll then arrive in Albany.

Day 5. Albany, Wildflower Spotting.
Today, head to Whale World at Cheyne’s Beach for an interactive journey through the former site of Australia’s last operating whaling station. Visit Torndirrup National Park then return to Albany and enjoy free time.

Day 6. Valley of the Giants, Pemberton.
Today experience the Valley of the Giants, a forest of huge tingle trees. Afterwards, travel via Margaret River to Pemberton.

Day 7. Margaret River, Fremantle.
After exploring Jewel Cave, head to the Cape Leeuwin coastline and visit the lighthouse that overlooks the joining of the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean. This afternoon continue to Fremantle.

Day 8. Fremantle, Perth.
After breakfast, enjoy most of today at leisure before returning to Perth, where your tour concludes
