Tour Details - 12 Day Reef Islands & East Coast 12/13 (Breakfast)

Day 1. Arrive Cairns, Port Douglas.
Be met on arrival in Cairns and head north along beautiful coastline to the holiday township of Port Douglas for a tour. Then enjoy a special Welcome Dinner at Tjapukai by Night.

Day 2. Green Island.
Today, take a cruise to Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef to see unique coral and marine life. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 3. Atherton Tablelands, Kuranda.
Board the scenic Kuranda Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and ride above the rainforest to Kuranda. Later, visit the Atherton Tablelands.

Day 4. Townsville, Daydream Island.
Travel from Mission Beach to Townsville for a tour of this tropical city, before transferring to Airlie Beach. From here, cruise to Daydream Island in the Whitsunday archipelago.

Day 5. Daydream Island.
Enjoy the whole day at leisure on Daydream Island. Perhaps go snorkelling, take a stroll and explore, relax by one of the many pools or enjoy a spa treatment (own expense).

Day 6. Whitehaven Beach.
Today you’ll visit Whitehaven Beach, an award-winning beach in the Whitsundays. Perhaps go snorkelling or participate in one of the many watersports on offer.

Day 7. Rockhampton.
A morning cruise takes remaining guests back to the mainland. Rejoin your coach for the journey south. Travel through sugar cane country, before arriving in the beef capital of Australia, Rockhampton.

Day 8. Rockhampton, Fraser Island.
The gateway to the coast and the outback, the inland city of Rockhampton also boasts some of the best provincial gardens in Australia. Today, you’ll take a guided tour of these gardens before travelling to Fraser Island for a sensational island resort stay and tour.

Day 9. Fraser Island.
Enjoy a half-day tour of this beautiful island, famous for being the largest sand island in the world. This afternoon is then yours to spend at leisure relaxing or exploring the island further.

Day 10. Australia Zoo, Brisbane, Gold Coast.
After exploring world-famous Australia Zoo, travel via Brisbane, to the Gold Coast.

Day 11. Byron Bay, Port Macquarie.
Travel south to the coastal town of Byron Bay, famous for its beautiful surf beaches. Then continue on to Port Macquarie for special Farewell Drinks and Dinner.

Day 12. Port Macquarie, Sydney.
This morning, depart from the relaxed city of Port Macquarie and journey via beautiful Sydney Harbour Bridge to Sydney airport, where your tour concludes.
