Day 1. Melbourne
Upon arriving in Melbourne, enjoy a free day to start your discovery of this beautiful city.

Day 2. Great Ocean Road
The Great Ocean Road is one of the world’s most famous coastal drives thanks to its superb panoramic vistas and sheer magnitude. From Melbourne, travel to Geelong and the follow the coastal road to Lorne, skirting dramatic cliffs rising from the pounding surf. Later, enjoy an overnight stay at one of the popular seaside towns.

Day 3. Great Ocean Road, Melbourne
Today we continue along the Great Ocean Road and take in the natural beauty of this rugged coastline. This region is sometimes called ‘The Shipwreck Coast’, which harks back to its seafaring history. Along our journey we’ll see the acclaimed Twelve Apostles which occupy a dramatic stretch of coastline, as well as Loch Ard Gorge and the remains of London Bridge. Later today, return to Melbourne.

Day 4. Melbourne at Leisure
Whether you prefer to visit cultural venues, spend time shopping or exploring the city’s beaches, botanic gardens or taking a riverside walk, Melbourne has something for everyone. Alternatively book one of APT’s other Melbourne Day Tours. All activities today are at your own expense.

Day 5. Depart Melbourne
After a morning at leisure, APT will take care of your transportation back to the airport.
