Day 1. Arrive Cape Town
On arrival in the South African city of Cape Town, be met at the airport and transferred to your five-star hotel.
Day 2. Cape Town, Freedom of Choice Touring
Tour Cape Town and ride the cableway up Table Mountain. Later, choose from four Freedom of Choice Touring activities. Tonight, join a drumming session then dine on African and Cape Malay cuisine.
Day 3. Cape Town, Cape Peninsula
Spend a full day on the Cape Peninsula. Head to Clifton and Camps Bay beaches, then travel Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Point. Later, see Simon’s Town and penguins at Boulders Beach before returning to Cape Town.
Day 4. Cape Town, Kruger National Park
Fly to Nelspruit (flight included) then travel to Lion Sands, within Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. This afternoon, take a game drive followed by dinner at your lodge.
Day 5. Kruger National Park, Freedom of Choice Touring
Watch for Africa’s Big Five during morning and afternoon game drives. During the day, attend a wildlife lecture; take in a presentation on the park’s birdlife or embark on a bushwalk. Tonight enjoy an intimate outdoor bush dinner.
Day 6. Kruger National Park, Johannesburg
After a final game drive, travel the Panorama Route, stopping at God’s Window for views over Blyde River Canyon. See The Three Rondavels, then arrive in Johannesburg.
Day 7. Johannesburg, Livingstone
Fly to Livingstone in Zambia today (flight included). Settle in to your hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River, then walk to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Day 8. Livingstone, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today, perhaps take a cultural tour; enjoy an Elephant Back Safari; go fishing; or take a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. Later, watch for wildlife and enjoy a drink during a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Day 9. Livingstone, Johannesburg
This morning depart Zambia on a flight back to Johannesburg in South Africa (flight included).
Day 10. Johannesburg, Nairobi
Fly to Nairobi (flight included). Here, visit the Kenya National Theatre for a Welcome Reception and a short concert by the Kenyan Boys Choir. Tonight, take part in an insightful wildlife photography lesson with one of Africa’s leading photographers.
Day 11. Nairobi, Amboseli National Park, Freedom of Choice Touring
Travel to Amboseli National Park. Take a nature walk or enjoy a massage then set off on a game drive.
Day 12. Amboseli National Park
After a morning game drive, visit a Masai village. During an afternoon game drive, enjoy special sundowner drinks and views of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Day 13. Amboseli National Park, Lake Manyara National Park
Cross into Tanzania. Travel via River House Shanga in Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 14. Lake Manyara National Park, Mto wa Mbu Village
After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural village walk and a lunch of local specialities, then return to Lake Manyara for a game drive.
Day 15. Ngorongoro Crater
Travel to World Heritage-listed Ngorongoro Conservation Area today. Enjoy a game drive to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater before dinner at your lodge.
Day 16. Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti National Park
This morning, enjoy a private tour and lecture at Olduvai Gorge then travel to Serengeti National Park.
Day 17. Serengeti National Park
On your morning and afternoon game drives today, watch for the wildlife of the Serengeti.
Day 18. Serengeti National Park, Masai Mara
Travel by 4WD to the border of Tanzania then fly to the Masai Mara in Kenya (flight included). Enjoy a game drive before dinner.
Day 19. Masai Mara
Enjoy time to relax today, and embark on morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara North Conservancy.
Day 20. Masai Mara, Freedom of Choice Touring
Take a game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Then enjoy an eco-tour, a nature walk or a Masai cultural experience. Tonight, enjoy a bush dinner and a performance by Masai dancers.
Day 21. Masai Mara, Johannesburg
Fly via Nairobi to Johannesburg (flights included).
Day 22. Depart Johannesburg
Transfer to the airport this morning for your onward flight.
