Tour Details - Noosa Fraser Discovery

Day 1: Arrive Sunshine Coast
On arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your mountain retreat. The afternoon is yours to relax or if you’re feeling active, take a 2 kilometre rainforest trail to visit a waterfall where you can take a dip in the rock pool at the top of the falls. If you’re lucky, you may spot the resident platypus!

Day 2: Sunshine Coast – Noosa
A scenic hinterland tour leads you through the towns of Montville, Maleny and on to the village of Eumundi, home to the famous markets (Wed, Sat and Sun). Enjoy a delicious riverside lunch at Noosaville before boarding your boat for a cruise through the stunning lakes and wetlands to the magnificent Noosa Everglades. Celebrate your experience with chilled bubbly and orange juice and freshly baked afternoon tea on the jetty at the historic logger’s camp, Harry’s Hut. Alight the cruise at Hastings Street Jetty, where a short stroll leads you to your resort. Enjoy this evening at leisure and sample some of Australia’s finest cuisine at one of the many beachfront restaurants on Noosa’s Hastings Street.

Day 3: Noosa 'Free Time'
Take time out to discover the boutique resort town of Noosa. Swim at Noosa Main Beach or venture a little further with an easy walk along the headland through to Noosa National Park. B

Day 4: Noosa – Fraser Island
Get ready for an unforgettable two day wilderness adventure on Fraser Island. Travel aboard a purpose-built ‘Warrior’ 4WD vehicle. Experience the excitement of the world’s best beach driving and immerse yourself in pristine wilderness as your Guide leads you on an epic journey of discovery. First up we visit Tin Can Bay to view the wild dolphin feeding. Then we board a ferry for the crossing to Fraser Island. Travel along 75 Mile Beach then take in the beauty of the wilderness on a guided walk through Pile Valley and Central Station Rainforests. Stop for lunch and a chance for a swim at Lake McKenzie. Travel through the Satinay and Brushbox forests and take an exhilarating drive along remote beach stretches. This evening relax at your resort right on the beach as your Guide prepares a delicious barbecue dinner including cold drinks and chilled wine.

Day 5: Fraser Island – Noosa
Explore more of the island as we travel north for a refreshing swim in Eli Creek. Continue to the Maheno Shipwreck, a huge steamer that was washed ashore after being hit by a cyclone off Fraser Island in 1935. There’s time for some bird-watching on a bushwalk after a picnic lunch in the wilderness. Take in the views from Indian Head before returning along our ‘sandy highway’ to Rainbow Beach, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the famous coloured sands (tide dependent). Return to Noosa late afternoon.

Day 6: Depart Noosa
Say farewell to new friends this morning before we transfer you to the airport to connect with your onward flight. B
