A delightful tour around the city of Melbourne. See our landmarks, gardens, buildings and shopping spots. Includes a visit to Captain Cook’s Cottage and the Phillip Island Penguin Parade.
Tour Itinerary
Travel south of Melbourne, as we head to Westernport Bay en route to Warrook Cattle Farm. Hand-feed kangaroos. See sheep, cattle, Australian birds and wombats. Enjoy included Devonshire Tea of hot scones with tea or coffee. An Aussie BBQ lunch is also available (own expense). Visit koalas in their natural habitat at the Koala Conservation Centre as you stroll the boardwalk through our famous gumtrees. Travel through the town of San Remo and cross the only bridge to Phillip Island (home of our world Motorcycle Grand Prix track). See the Nobbies rock formations overlooking one of the most treacherous expanses of water in the world, Bass Strait. Watch the famous little penguins perform their nightly ritual at Summerland Beach (Platform Option recommended), as they march up the sand to their nesting places. Visit the beautiful coastal town of Cowes for dinner (own expense), for a great selection of restaurants & cafes or Fish & Chips on the beach. Enjoy DVD entertainment on your return drive to Melbourne.
