Alice Springs to Kings Canyon Highlights:
Day 1: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
Depart Alice Springs at 7.30am. Travel to Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. Explore Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and walk through Walpa Gorge. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine watching an outback sunset. Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb or Base Tour (Y18) or the
Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk (Y41). Both tours include sunrise at
Uluru. The Base Tour and Guided Cultural Walk also include a visit to
Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. In
the afternoon travel to Kings Canyon. Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice SpringsThis morning join a guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for marvellous views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness, sturdy shoes required). An easier walk along the boulder-strewn canyon floor is also available. Enjoy lunch at Kings Canyon Resort (own expense) before travelling to Alice Springs or returning to Ayers Rock Resort. The adult price includes a National Park Entry Fee. The fee is $25 per adult. You only have to pay this fee once when purchasing 2 or more Day Tours in this national park, as entry is valid for 3 consecutive days. It is an additional compulsory government charge at time of booking and is subject to change without notice. Children 15 years and under are not required to pay the entry fee. You must carry your ticket with you every time you enter the National Park or you will be required to purchase another ticket. Note: Itinerary & departure dates may change from 01/04/13. |
