Alice, Uluru & Kings Canyon Adventure

Day 1: Alice Springs
Tour the sights of 'The Alice' including the historic Telegraph Station. Visit the
Royal Flying Doctor Service and learn how this marvellous facility operates to provide
a 'mantle of safety' to the people of the outback. At the Alice Springs Reptile Centre
see unique central Australian reptiles. Finish the day with panoramic views of Alice
Springs from the top of Anzac Hill.
Accommodation: Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge (B), Aurora Alice Springs (R), Crowne Plaza
(S) or Chifley Alice Springs Resort, River Gum Rooms (F), Alice Springs.
Day 2: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
We visit a camel farm where there is time for a short camel ride (own expense). Later
stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner) before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Visit
Kata Tjuta then travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area to watch sunset
and the changing colours of Uluru while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary
glass of wine.
Accommodation: Outback Pioneer Budget Rooms (B), Outback Pioneer Hotel (R), Desert
Gardens Hotel (S) or Sails in the Desert (F), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.
Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb or Base Tour (Y18) or the
Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk (Y41). The first option allows time for
climbing, while the second option includes a longer guided walk at the base of
Uluru. This afternoon, enjoy time at your leisure.
Day 4: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Travel to Kings Canyon Resort, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station (own
expense). Make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon for marvellous views of
Watarrka National Park. The climb may take up to 3 hours and is recommended only for
those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to take a less
strenuous walk to explore the boulderstrewn canyon floor. Later we continue our journey
to Alice Springs.

Day 5: Alice Springs
Your tour concludes today in Alice Springs.

The adult price includes a National Park Entry Fee.
The fee is $25 per adult. You only have to pay this fee once when purchasing 2 or more
Day Tours in this national park, as entry is valid for 3 consecutive days. It is an
additional compulsory government charge at time of booking and is subject to change
without notice. Children 15 years and under are not required to pay the entry fee. You
must carry your ticket with you every time you enter the National Park or you will be
required to purchase another ticket.
